Vijayanagar Fine Arts completed 25 years and is celebrating Silver Jubilee from March 22 through March 27th, 2015

'VIJAYANAGAR  FINE  ARTS' ('VFA')  was founded in the year 1990 at Hyderabad, A.P., India, by Sri Jagannadha Rao Mallajosyula & his wife  Smt. Anjani Mallajosyula, a former Vocal  Lecturer of  Govt. College  of  Music &  Dance, Vizianagaram,  A.P. &  a former A.I.R. Artiste,  Hyderabad,  with the sole objective of  serving,  in their own small  and  humble way,  the  sacred cause of promoting and propagating the rich traditional Carnatic Classical Music.   Eversince,  monthly  Music  Concerts  and  Annual Programmes  were being conducted regularly. Apart from this, Annual Music Competitions also were being conducted every year from February 2007 onwards and Prizes & Certificates were being awarded to the Winners during the Sabha's Annual Festival, with a view to encourage & promote a  healthy competition among the young promising talent in Carnatic Music.

All  these  musicians  had  honoured   'VIJAYANAGAR   FINE   ARTS'  ('VFA')  by  performing  in  this  'Sabha'   and  presenting scholarly  music  recitals  there.   A  number  of  other  artistes also featured in  the  concerts  held  by  'VFA'.

Many  up and coming  young  talented  artists,  such as  Sri  Mallela  Krishna Swaroop, Kum. Kasturi Kamala Deepti, Kum. S.V. Anusha, Kum. Varanasi  Sree  Soumya,  Kum. T. Niharika,  Kum. Manda  Sruthi Ravali,  Kum. Ch. Ramya Kiranmayi  and others were also given opportunities to perform on the   'VFA'   dais, enabling them to showcase their musical talent before the  knowledgeable audience and the 'Rasikas'  of  'VFA'.  Young  prodigies,  such as  Chi. Mallela  Tejaswi,  Chi. Kadiyala  Kalyana Vasanth, Chi. Devulapalli Prachotan,  Chi. Jonnalagadda  Sriram  and such others too were given opportunities to perform in  'VFA'  and to showcase their abundant talents before the invited audience.

During  it's  16th  Annual  Music  &  Sri  Thyagaraja  Aradhana  Festival  held  in the month of February  2006,  'Vijayanagar Fine Arts' honoured Mridanga Vidwan  Sri D.S.R. Murthy and conferred on him the Title  'LAYA  MANI'.  Again in the  same  year 2006,  and  in the  month  of  September,   'Vijayanagar Fine Arts'   honoured  the  genial  female  Vocalist  of  A.P.,   Smt. Manda  Sudha  Rani  and conferred on her the Title  'VIJAYA  SANGEETA  RATNA'.

From February 2007 onwards,  Annual  Vocal  Music  Competitions were regularly being conducted by 'VFA'  every year and Prizes  & Certificates were being awarded to the  Winners, with a view to encourage and promote the young and promising talent in the field of Carnatic Music. 

'Vijayanagar Fine Arts'  is a favourite among both the Artistes as well as the 'Rasikas'. Many an artiste look forward to perform in 'VFA'  and to showcase their prowess and musical talent infront of the knowledgeable audience of 'VFA'.  Concerts  are  held  every month at  Sri Lakshmi  Ganapathi  Devalayam, (Behind Post Office),  Vijaya  Nagar  Colony,  Hyderabad - 500 057,   the  venue being  a land  mark  in  the  colony  and  known  to  almost  all.
